I over heard two girls talking on the train yesterday. One said to the other:
-“You know, she had an image in her head and reality ruined it.”
This was enough to send my easily distracted imagination into another dimension. I kept thinking about how strange life can be like that, or rather, how strange we can be towards life. Like I was saying to Nadin just the other day, what is a plan but ink on paper. Plans are made to be scrapped and life is often best enjoyed when accepted and lived as is and without trying to enforce some preconceived plan on it. The latter is just a recipe for disappointment!
Suddenly, I was snapped back to reality by the second girl’s reply:
-“Yeah. I saw them and I know what you mean! That’s why I would never order shoes from a catalogue”
Shoes!
